What to Do, Finalize, and Confirm for a Seamless, Guest-Loved Experience

You’re two weeks away from your wedding day. The big moments are almost here: the walk down the aisle, the vows, the first dance. With all the emotion and excitement building, the last thing you need is to worry about logistics-especially when it comes to your photo booth.

That’s why we created this guide. It’s your comprehensive checklist for making sure your Neon Flamingo Photo Booth is 100% ready to go. We’ll walk you through what to double-check, finalize, and expect, all while giving you helpful tips to keep this part of your wedding day easy, fun, and stress-free.

Step 1: Confirm Your Final Details in the Portal

At this stage, you should log into your client portal and make sure the following tabs are complete:

  • Questionnaire: This is where you share all the event-day details we need-venue layout, load-in instructions, contact person on-site, and anything else we should know.

  • Backdrop Selection: Choose your backdrop if you haven’t yet. If you're unsure about ceiling height or placement, let us know so we can help pick the best fit.

  • Design Approval: Make sure your template is approved and ready to print. If you want to tweak wording, colors, or layout, now’s the time.

We review every single detail on our end, but confirming these tabs ensures your booth setup reflects your exact vision.

Step 2: Submit Your Final Payment

Your balance is due two weeks prior to the wedding. You can pay via your portal or share the link with a family member or planner who might be assisting.

Need a payment reminder or copy of your invoice? Just let us know-we’re happy to resend anything you need.

Step 3: Choose the Right Spot for Your Booth

The location of your booth plays a big role in how many guests use it. We recommend a space that is:

  • At least 10’x10’ with easy access to an outlet

  • Close to the reception action but not in the way of other activities

  • Against a flat wall or backdrop support surface (especially important for shimmer walls and large floral displays)

We also suggest:

  • Avoiding areas near restrooms, kitchens, or buffets

  • Thinking about flow: can guests line up and move easily?

  • Making announcements or signage if the booth is slightly tucked away

Still deciding where to place it? Email us your floor plan or venue name and we can give personalized advice.

Step 4: Review Add-Ons & Enhancements

Now is the time to finalize any enhancements you’d like to include. Some of our most popular two-week add-ons:

  • Scrapbook Station: We bring the book, pens, glue, extra prints, and a dedicated attendant. Guests leave messages next to their photos—you leave with a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

  • Memory Box: A print from every session collected in a glass display box, delivered by the end of the night.

  • Audio Guestbook: Guests leave voice messages via a retro-style phone—we compile them into digital and shareable files.

  • Roaming Booth: Our mobile booth captures candid moments during cocktail hour or between dance sets.

  • Neon Sign Rental: Choose a glowing phrase for extra impact. Requires 30 minutes of additional setup.

Add-ons can usually be confirmed up to 14 days before your event—so now’s the time to decide what feels right.

Day-Of Wichita Wedding Photo Booth Tips

Designate a Contact: Let us know who we should coordinate with on-site (planner, maid of honor, venue manager). We’ll handle everything with them directly so you can stay focused on getting married!

Schedule Access Time: Most booths require 45-60 minutes to set up. We’ll confirm this with your venue, but make sure load-in and teardown times are in the schedule.

Plan to Use the Booth Yourself: We always tell our couples: make time to take a few photos together. You’ll love having that moment captured in a fun, relaxed setting.
